Tips for Preparing for Your Bridal Portraits

> Once gown fitting is complete, schedule to have your portratis taken. For your bridal portraits to be ready for display at the wedding reception, allow at least (3) three weeks before your wedding date.

> Portraits with a veil or hair garments should be taken last in order for your hair to remain in place.

> If you're planning to use fresh flowers for your bouquet on your wedding day, have a silk replica made for your bridal portraits.

> Allow at least one hour for your shoot. This will allow you to have between 30-40 portraits to choose from.

> Since some portraits will be taken with your bouquet, don't forget to evaluate the condition of your nails!

Which package should I choose?

Typically, it's better to pay more for the next package up, than it is to squeeze into a smaller package. The larger packages tend to have everything in it that you need to accomplish your goals. Most events have something happen that is not planned. Traffic causes someone to be late, the limo didn't arrive on time, nobody was available to open up the venue, even the rings get misplaced. All of these things can cause your event to run late. The most expensive part of your package is time. If your photographer has to stay longer than the amount of hours that the contract caused for, you could be looking at a typical hourly rate ranging between $200 and $300 per hour! Allow yourself time for the unforeseen!

Image Entertainment will work with you to provide the best possible package for your event. By arriving a minimum of 30 minutes before your event, we ensure that we are ready on time and prepared to record the events of the day. If you find that you're event is running beyond you're allotted time, we will work with you to make sure the required shots are taken or the appropriate video is recorded in the least amount of time.

Tips to Creating the Best Portraits

> Choose a color theme that represents your family.

> Everyone in the portrait should have the same style clothing. Do not mix casual and formal clothing.

> Use stronger colors and patterns for accents such as hats, ties, scarves.

> We welcome props or personal items that express who you are or reflect the occassion. This may include a Bible, sporting equipment, musical instruments, flowers, or stuffed animals!
